The day finally arrived! Our very own Maisen Louise was born on June 9th, 2007 at 6:24 p.m. She weighed in at a solid 8lbs 7oz and a perfect 20 1/2 inches. If you cannot tell I am a bit biased here. I have never felt closer to God than the moment of her birth. I am not only a proud Daddy, but am so blessed to have a Godly wife who was AMAZING during her birth. Oh Maisen, if you only knew how blessed you are to have your mommy! We thank the Lord for our perfect bundle of joy. For me she provides the perfect perspective. When I look at her I wonder two things; How could anyone deny that there is a God and He loves us more deeply than we can ever comprehend, the second thing I ask myself is why I have ever worried about a thing in this life, obviously God is in control. I am honored to call myself Dad. Our families and friends have been overwhelmingly supportive and we are comforted to know that our sweet little girl will be watched over and guided with love by those God has put into our lives.

Hey guys - your little sweetie is AWESOME - and yes Dusty she does display God in every way ... His power, His grace, His mercy ...HIS GIFT OF CHILDREN TO US!!! Isn't it something? More than you could have ever imagined huh? :) I am so glad you were blessed with such a wonderful experience with the birth of Maisen ... enjoy every minute!
